Deleting a flight should update your flight totals too. FlightFabric 0.12.6 fixes this issue, provides clearer feedback when heading or approach commands can’t be confirmed, and removes the convective-risk assessment from flight debriefs.
FlightFabric is still in alpha. The aircraft catalogue lists support and testing notes.

Deleting a flight updates the totals
When you delete a flight recording, your scored flight history and all time stats now update automatically.
There’s no need to reopen the Logbook or refresh the page to see the updated totals.
Did the command actually reach the aircraft?
FlightFabric now provides clearer feedback for heading select, heading hold and approach commands. It distinguishes between commands that couldn’t be sent and those that were sent but whose effect on the aircraft couldn’t be confirmed.
If a command can’t be confirmed, check the Flight Mode Annunciator (FMA) in the cockpit before trying again.
For approach commands, voice feedback now indicates that the mode was selected. However, this doesn’t mean the aircraft has captured the approach. You’ll still need to check the cockpit to confirm which flight modes are active.
These changes improve how FlightFabric reports command results, but they don’t fix every reported PMDG heading or approach issue. Some remain under investigation. See the FlightFabric 0.12.6 release notes for more details.
Convective Risk Removed
The convective risk assessment feature has been removed. Landing, approach stability, takeoff and flight upset assessments still remain.
Push-to-talk during setup
The setup intro now suggests push-to-talk as an option.
You can change your voice preferences in Settings, or revisit the introduction through Settings > General > Introduction.
How to update
Finish your flight before updating.
- Using FlightFabric 0.12.2 or newer: open Settings > About, check for updates and download 0.12.6. Choose Restart and update when you are ready.
- Installing manually, or using 0.12.1 or earlier: quit FlightFabric from the system tray, then run the installer from the official download page. Your settings and recordings stay in their existing locations.
- Using the MSFS 2024 toolbar panel: close MSFS, open Settings > MSFS 2024 toolbar panel in FlightFabric and choose Update/Reinstall. Then restart the simulator.
The current alpha installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an Unknown publisher warning. Use the official download link above and read the installation help in the 0.12.6 release notes. Keep Windows security protections enabled.
Thanks for the feedback, testing and support. It all helps me work out what needs attention next.
