FlightFabric 0.12.1 fixes flap and gear command issues on the PMDG aircraft. Also reorganised Settings, labelled the Logbook’s timestamps, and worked on microphone reliability.

PMDG flap and gear fixes

On the PMDG 737, FlightFabric now confirms the flap lever position while the flaps are travelling. Gear up and down commands are fixed on both the 737 and 777.

Find your way around Settings

You can jump between Settings sections on desktop and phone. Unsaved changes stay put as you move around, and the save messages are easier to follow. Microphone setup, keyboard and controller push-to-talk and spoken replies are together under Voice.

Which clock is the Logbook showing?

Simulator time and the time on your PC can be very different, which makes an unlabelled timestamp unhelpful. Logbook now distinguishes simulator local time, simulator UTC and the real world recording start time. Recording times use your local timezone, with the UTC offset in the flight details.

The microphone is now released more reliably when you cancel recognition, finish a voice test or leave Voice settings, so you can try again.

This update also includes security fixes for dependencies.

How to update

Finish your flight, close FlightFabric and run the Windows installer. Your settings and recordings stay in their current locations.

For the toolbar, close MSFS, then choose Update or Reinstall under Settings > MSFS 2024 toolbar panel in FlightFabric. Restart the simulator afterwards. The toolbar setup guide has more detail.
