FlightFabric 0.9.7: clearer landing debriefs

FlightFabric 0.9.7 is mostly about making the post flight review easier to use. Landing summaries get more readable layouts and saved flights are easier to revisit.

Runway data issues

FlightFabric now asks MSFS for nearby airport data while you’re on the ground or approaching an airport, which should improve data accuracy.

UI Improvements

The layout and spacing of landing grade cards, live telemetry and Settings have been improved, including for smaller screens.

Logbook UI improvements

Open a saved flight in Logbook and select an event in its timeline. In 0.9.7, its details open in a dialog. Press Escape or click outside it to get back to the timeline.

Get the update

  1. Finish your current session and close FlightFabric.
  2. Download and run the Windows installer linked above.
  3. Launch FlightFabric again with MSFS 2024 running.

Install the update to get these changes; refreshing a connected browser does not update the desktop app. FlightFabric remains a public alpha, so expect bugs and incomplete aircraft support. The installer is unsigned, and Windows may show an “Unknown publisher” warning. Use the official download link above.

In 0.9.7, the experimental aircraft support workbench was unavailable while it underwent further review. Previously saved workbench sessions were retained.

The full 0.9.7 release notes cover the details and limitations. The Windows download page has the current version.
