Presets together, cockpit controls easier to find
Quick actions and cockpit-lighting presets now sit together in one Presets section, separate from individual switches and settings.
Related controls now sit together, without repeated sections. Radios and approach settings are near flight guidance where supported, and the section navigation follows the page order. If you know what you’re looking for, open Control library to search all the commands available for your aircraft.
These changes cover PMDG 737 and 777, Fenix A32X, FlyByWire A32NX and A380X, and iniBuilds A350. Presets look consistent across the aircraft pages, and the A350 page fits a narrow phone screen better. The actual controls still depend on what each aircraft supports.
Say “decimal” or “point” for NAV frequencies
Read NAV frequencies digit by digit for more reliable recognition. For 109.50, either of these works:
- “Set nav radios one zero nine decimal five”
- “Set nav radios one zero nine point five”
You can use “decimal” or “point” with other supported NAV frequencies too. Enable push-to-talk in the Windows app to use the voice feature.
More reliable landing light commands
On the PMDG 737, fixed landing lights now move fully ON. Turning all landing lights OFF also retracts the retractable lights. Supported fixed exterior light commands on the iniBuilds L-1011 are more reliable when the switches need to be set again.
Follow your flight more clearly
Tracks, routes and aircraft markers have stronger contrast in Live Map and Timeline, so they’re easier to pick out.
Get the update
- Finish your current flight and close FlightFabric.
- Download and run the Windows installer linked above.
- Launch FlightFabric again with MSFS 2024 running.
Install the update to get these changes; refreshing a connected browser does not update the desktop app. FlightFabric remains a public alpha, so expect bugs and incomplete aircraft support. The installer is unsigned, and Windows may show an “Unknown publisher” warning. Use the official download link above.
In 0.9.8, the experimental aircraft support workbench was unavailable while it underwent further review. Previously saved workbench sessions were retained.
The full 0.9.8 release notes cover the details and known limitations. The Windows download page always has the current version.
