FlightFabric 0.11.0: cockpit presets, taxi guidance and easier PMDG setup

FlightFabric 0.11.0 adds Presets to the MSFS toolbar, adds taxi route guidance and introduces a pushback feature. There’s also a PMDG setup guide, so getting the connection working involves less guesswork.

This is a Public Alpha. Expect bugs and incomplete aircraft support. The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an Unknown publisher or Windows protected your PC warning. Read the download and installation information before installing.

Presets without leaving the cockpit

The toolbar now has a Presets tab beside Flight, Plan and Voice. It lists the presets for your current aircraft, shows progress and explains when something isn’t available. You can run supported grouped actions without switching back to the desktop app.

Taxi guidance and guided pushback

Use the new Taxi tab to find a route to a runway holding point or stand. It can use the departure details from a loaded SimBrief plan, or you can choose the destination yourself. Preview it on the ribbon or 2D map. Show route gives you directions while you do the taxiing.

For departures, you can review the proposed pushback path and final aircraft direction before selecting Push back.

PMDG setup and voice changes

The PMDG connection guide checks the known 737 and 777 settings and tells you which data broadcasts to enable. Open folder, Copy settings and Check again help you work through it.

Offline voice uses an updated English recogniser and is stricter about silence and unclear numbers. This release also handles interrupted sessions and slow connected displays better, updates MD-11 controls and lighting presets, and adds partial iniBuilds A380 support.

How to update

Finish your flight and close FlightFabric, then get the Windows installer and run it. Your settings and recordings stay in their current locations.

To get the new toolbar tabs, close MSFS and choose Update or Reinstall in Settings > MSFS 2024 toolbar panel, then restart the simulator. The toolbar guide has setup instructions.

See the full 0.11.0 release notes for changes and known limitations. Takeoff scoring remains disabled, and aircraft support varies by aircraft and installed version.

Thanks for the testing, feedback and donations that help keep FlightFabric going.
